Why Do This

Sky and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
We are living in a perilous world that is slowly passing away at an increasing rate. Global events have more than substantiated this. Hence, instead of dwelling on things that are passing away, I chose to promote those things that are sure and permanent.
Why Joyce Meyer
Joyce Meyer Ministry was the first ministry to have greatly impacted me. I have read many of her writings and listened to her online sermons.
One thing she said has so benefited me that I must share.
“What you don't feed, dies!”
Simple? Yet the things are God are so simple yet so very powerful!
This teaching is like a double-edged sword that cuts both ways. When I don't read the Word, it dies just as when I don't feed on negative situations and emotions.
The Dash
The period between my birthday and the day I return to Jesus is called the dash. I believe that dash represents the Book of Remembrance in heaven. We have a say what that dash will be. Abba Father has promised that my sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more (Hebrews 8:12). He gave me His Word. And He watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). So, what will my dash or my Book of Remembrance contain? As I read the Bible, I am convinced that each and every beloved child of God has been commissoned to share the Gospel in His Word. Hence, the purpose behind what I am doing.
Great Men and Women of God
Apart from Joyce Meyer, I have also been greatly impacted by the writings and teachings of:
Jesus Christ – The Originator and Source of all things. Fully man, He was the Master Preacher and yet fully God. The best sermons came from Him. I would have been gone two years ago if not for His grace. Thank you Jesus! | Joseph Prince – Modern “Father” of Grace. Deeply impacted by Kenneth E Hagin, he has been raised by God to preach radical grace. He is my pastor from whom I not only learnt so much better about grace, but also how to rightly divide and study the Word. He has inspired me to start cracking open the Bible. |
Apostle Paul – The Special Messenger of Jesus Christ to bring to the world the Grace Gospel and to reveal the mystery of the Redemption Plan. | Kathryn Kuhlman – Fully indwelt by the Blessed Holy Spirit. God raised her to reveal the Person of the Blessed Holy Spirit. One wave of her hand and thousands were instantly healed. |
Charles Spurgeon - “Father” of Grace. A cigar smoking cool dude who was known as the Boy Preacher. Royalties attend his church services. My first encounter with the grace message was through his writings. | Kenneth E Hagin – Modern “Father” of Faith. The frist Christian book I ever read - “The Name of Jesus” was penned by him. That book led me to Dr E W Kenyon and the rest is history. |
Dr E W Kenyon - “Father” of Faith. His writings whet my appetite for the word. One thing I have learnt from him – Stand! | Maria Woodworth-Etter - “Mother” of women preachers. God raised her to break into the the male-dominated arena of preaching. |
George Mueller – Extreme Faith in Action. In faith, he started 5 large orphanages with zero cash. Faith provided the funds. Awesome! | Rick Warren – The “Shaper” who stunned the world with his book - Purpose-Driven Life. I now have an idea why I am the way I am. |
John G Lake – The Healing Magnet whom God raised to demonstrate the reality of His healing power. Germs touched the hands of John G Lake and died instantly. This was witnessed by other scientists under microscope. | Roberts Liardon – The Church Historian. An anointed church historian who traced the history of the church and revivals in a concise but in-depth manner. Check out his three volumes of God's Generals! I have so thoroughly enjoyed them. |
Joel Osteen – The Motivator. His writings lifted me up when I was at the ebb of my life. If you need a boost or building up or edification, you have to check out his books! | Smiths Wigglesworth – The “Resurrector”. A plumber whom God used to raise more than 10 people from the dead. The one thing I have learnt from him is this: Just Believe! |
